Press Central is a blog about the board game Diplomacy, written by players for players of any skill level. Our goal: weekly or more posts about the small and large parts of playing Diplomacy with skill, grace, and a well-hidden dagger.

Stephen is a purely online player so far, whose style of play is to play the tactician, and wait to counterpunch his way out of a situation. He prides himself mostly on his tactical skill, finding seemingly impossible stalemate lines to pull out improbable draws, or finding sneak methods for breaking down an opponent’s defensive positions. He’s also arrogant or stupid enough to think that he can write this blog.
